HOW TO:Enable, Edit and Managing CSP/Office 365 Tenants

Summary

This article provides brief detail to manage CSP service i.e. how to Enable, Edit & service management of CSP tenant.

Applies To
This article applies to MachPanel build v6.2.10 and above.
Pre-Requisite

Before you can manage Office 365/CSP/NCE Tenants below steps must be followed:

  • Step-1: MachPanel Control Server Setup and Configuration.
  • Step-2: Service Account Permissions and Other Configuration on Microsoft Partner Center and Microsoft Azure Portal.
  • Step-3: Integrate Secure Model Application & Add CSP Profile in MachPanel​
  • Step-4: Azure/CSP/NCE Service Plan Creation and Add-ons creation
  • Step-5: Provisioning of CSP Tenant/Selling CSP service to customers.
  • Step-6: Add/Import O365/CSP/NCE Subscriptions in tenants.

Edit, Enable & Manage CSP Tenants
  • Navigate to the following path: Home » Service Director » Microsoft CSP Management » Accounts.
  • We can Send CSP Invitation.
  • We have a Subscription Reconcilation Report in CSP Accounts.
    • It is available to Providers Only.
    • On clicking Export Subscription Reconcilation Report following data is shown in Excel: Customer, Customer Company Name, Owner, Tenant, SubscriptionInPanel, PanelQuantity, PanelStatus, SubscriptionInMicroSoft, Quantity, Status, DateUpdated
    • If a record exists in panel but not in backend, show SubscriptionInMicrosoft = Blank, Quantity = 0, Status = Unknown. Similarly applies for a subscription in backend but not in panel.
  • From Options column select Manage as shown below:

    Management of Microsoft CSP/Office365/NCE Tenant includes:

    1. Managing General Settings (Edit, Enable & Sync Licenses)
    2. Managing Domains
    3. Managing Users
    4. Managing Shared & Resource Mailboxes
    5. Managing Contacts
    6. Managing Groups
    7. Managing SharePoint Sites
    8. Configure Direct Routing Calling plans
    9. Managing Teams & Channels
    Send CSP Invitation:
    • Send CSP Invitation email which include Invitation link to customers.

    General Settings
    Edit CSP Tenant and Sync:
    • Under "General Settings" tab, you can Edit, Sync All with Microsoft CSP, Sync domains, licenses, policies and roles.

    Add/Import Subscriptions & Increase/Decrease Licenses:

    Enable/Disable Tenant:

    • Manage tenant using panel: Select Enable to enable management of tenant using control panel. Provide Global Admin user details:
    1. Admin email: It shows Admin email.
    2. Admin password: It shows password when you click show password.
    • 2FA Enabled: It shows Yes if 2FA is enabled.
    • Azure AD Sync enabled: It shows Yes if Azure AD Sync enabled.
    • Exchange Hybrid Mode enabled: It shows yes  if Hybrid Mode is enabled.
    ​​Accounts Information
    • Under "Account Information" tab, you can Update Customer Account Information.

    Adding Domains

    You can add new domains & Sync existing domains under Domain tab as shown below:

    Adding Contacts

    You can add Mail contacts by clicking Add Mail Contact and Sync all With Microsoft CSP as shown below:

     

    Workflows are also supported for CSP: 

    • You can also add a workflow to schedule sync from CSP/Microsoft 365. Navigate to Home > Service Director > General > Workflows and click "Add Workflow"
    • Select the Workflow type "Microsoft CSP - Sync from Backend".
    • Provide Workflow Name and Select Tenants.

    • Provide Execution Date and Time.
    • Provide Time to repeat or check "Unlimited"
    • Provide Repeat Interval in day(s).
    • Click Save
