This article provide a summary how to add Sealed and ISO images, OS licenses, Quota settings, storage types, VNIC bandwidth tier in Hyper-V setup.
This article applies to MachPanel build v6 and above
First of all integrate VPS(Hyper -V)server, details for integrating VPS are given on the following KB article:

Configure Setup in MachPanel Hyper-V automation Module
Navigate to following path to view Setup: Home > Service Director > VPS Hosting > Setup. In Setup of Hyper-V automation Module you can configure following:
- Sealed Images
- Quota Settings
- OS Licenses
- ISOs
- Storage Type
- VNIC Bandwidth tiers
- RDP Custom Ports
- Guarded Fabric
- Customizations
Sealed Images:
- SOP for preparation of Windows Sealed Images for Hyper-V (Hosted VPS)
- SOP for preparation of Centos (Linux) & Ubuntu Sealed Images for Hyper-V
Under Sealed Images tab, To add a new image click on Add Sealed Image button.

- Image Name: Provide image title.
- Image path: Provide the path of the image.
- VM Generation: Select generation of image.
- Sealed Image Type: Select the type of the sealed image Windows\ Linux.
- Operating System: Select operating system from the drop-down.
- Apply Windows Product Key: Check box to apply key.
- Delay for OS initialization after 1st boot: Add “VMOSSetupWait” string value in registry path “SOFTWARE\MachSol\Remote Configuration Studio” for all remote servers. Set the value 3, 5 or greater as per their need. By default we delay for 3 minutes.
Click on Save button when done.
Quota Settings:
To configure quota select Quota Settings tab:
- Enable Bandwidth Metering: Check this option to enable.
- Send email to: Select option for e.g. Owner Only, Customer Only, Both Owner and Customer. When bandwidth usage is -----% of allowed limit.
- Automatic Suspend Service: Select days. When bandwidth is over used.
- Automatic Resume: Check this option for automatic resume.
Click on Save button when done.
OS Licenses:
Select OS Licenses tab. Click Add License button to add new License key.

- License Key: Provide License Key.
- Operating System: Select Operating system
- Max Activations: Provide maximum number of activations allowed for this key.
- Active: Select Active
Click Save when done.
ISO Images:
Select ISO Image tab. Click Add ISO Image button.
- Image Name: Provide ISO image name.
- ISO Image File Path: Provide ISO image path.
- Image Type: Specify the image type (whether its an OS Install Media or some Other type of Media.
- OS: Specify the OS Version
- Active: Check this box to enable/disable ISO Image.
- Select Customer(s): Select Customers to make this ISO image available for.
Click Save when done.
Storage Types:
To setup different Storage Types, navigate to: Home
> Service Director > Virtual Machines Hosting > Setup
Select Storage Type tab. Click Add Storage Type button.

Click Save when done.
You can adopt below detailed storage type model based on Min IOPS and Max IOPS.
Once done,
you can associate these types in product/addon:


VNIC Bandwidth Tiers:
Select VNIC Bandwidth Tiers tab and Add Bandwidth Tier to add new tier.

- Tier Name: Provider tier friendly name.
- Min Mbps: Provide minimum MBPS.
- Max Mbps: Provide maximum MBPS.
- Applied To: Select public or private tier.
Click Save when done.
RDP Custom Ports:
You can add range of RDP custom Ports.

Add range and select customer.

Guarded Fabric
Navigate to Setup select Gaurded Fabric tab.
Click Add Key Protector as shown below:


Click Save when done.
Customizations
Navigate to Customizations tab and select desired options:

- Allow option to expand disk inside a Windows VM (created using Sealed Image):
- Hide VLAN ID from Customers and Reseller and show Subnet Pool name only:
- You have option to choose what type of VM Installation Option You want to allow:
- Sealed Image Only.
- OS ISO Only
- Both Sealed Image and OS ISO, Sealed Image preferred
- Both Sealed Image and OS IS, OS ISO Preferred
