Important Note

Prior to performing any update take backup of your MachPanel Database and files from Control and Remote servers. See below Kb article for more details on how to take backup. http://kb.machsol.com/Knowledgebase/Article/50248
MachPanel Control Panel and all MachPanel Remote Servers need to be on Build v7.2.11 and then Hotfix can be applied.
Please follow the steps given below in sequence and execute instructions in the KB articles to complete the update:
- Update to Latest MachPanel
- Update to Latest MachPanel Remote Server

Latest Issues Fixed

Issues/Enhancements:

1: Improved Exchange Module performance when there are alot of databases on backend.

2: Fixed Mail Domain not getting created. 3: Fixed linked OU not getting created when O365 Tenant Management is Off. 4: Fixed wrong job of password update created in Linked OU to O365 tenant user management. 5: Fixed Personal Archive quota handling in Exchange module. 6: Fixed Usage report not getting processed. 7: Fixed Tmp_.. folder remains in C:\Windows\Temp directory when O365 management is in use. 8: Fixed Edit Group takes time when there are a lot of users in group. 9: Fixed Constraint Violation error when syncing users from O365 and Azure Sync is also enabled. 10: Fixed all licenses are not showing when assigning license to User in O365 user add/edit. 11: Fixed error in downloading sample file for Bulk Mailbox when Russian language is used. 12: Store and Login page CSS updated. 13: Fixed Hyper-V group jobs auto processing. 14: Fixed Group Job Settings update function. 15: CentOS IP config not getting provisioned during VM create is fixed. 16: Invalid IP Address error fixed when IP/Subnet is sent to server. 17: Error in notification for reseller dashboard fixed. 18: Updated Hyper-V email and Setup section handling. 19: Error in VM management due to memory management not allowed is fixed. 20: Fixed import is not updating Custom Customer Number. 21: Mailbox Usage Report export does not work correclty after Email search added fixed. 22: All orgs option from Exchange WorkFlows removed to avoid page load issue. 23: Fixed WHMCS reseller creation issue. 24: Fixed Mailbox Sample file edit issue, values appearing in single column in excel. 25: Delete VM from DB only option hidden from Reseller and Customer side. 26: Wrong Logo on ResetGoogleAuthenticator page fixed. 27: Change profile option on dashboard hidden if customer is not allowed to edit profile. 28: Updated KeyCloak authentication handling, improved page load time and working. 29. Fixed MAPI value in add/edit Resource mailbox is not available. 30. Select AD domain is hidden on Customer AD Home page when there is single AD domain added in panel. 31. Add Export PST job is hidden based on customer access template and if Export quota is 0. 32. Updated error messages display, AD domain and server details hidden. 33. Mailbox import routine updated to handled larger import batches like more then 10K mailboxes in a batch. Note the process will take considerable time depending on Database performance.

Optimized Bulk Mailbox creation using CSV.38. AL, GAL and OAB names are used to fetch Distinguished names to set on new Mailbox creation.39. Fixed wrong quota values for Resource and Shared mailbox when package has 0 quota.40. Fixed wrong DB selection in bulk mailbox creation.

Procedure

Go to MachPanel configuration studio.
Shut down all the MachPanel services and also exit the configuration studio. Make sure no instance to MachPanel Configuration Studio is running under any user.

Download the hotfix 7211-20july2023HF2.zip file from the link at bottom of this page.
Stop IIS Admin Service, please make sure that all the services are STOPPED from MachPanel Configuration Studio. Verify from "Task Manager" that the following services are not running.

MachSol.MachPanel Provisioning Service.

MachSol.MachPanel.ConfigurationStudio.exe.

MachPanel Billing Service.

MachPanel Helpdesk Service.

MachPanel Network Service.

MachPanel License Service.

MachPanel O365 Service.

Replace files from MachPanel folder on MachPanel control server (Path: C:\Program Files\MachSol\MachPanel Control Server) and Replace files from Remote server folder of hotfix folder on MachPanel remote server (C:\Program Files\MachSol\MachPanel Remote Server) keeping the folder hierarchy same as it is in hotfix. (you should get message to overwrite files, if not you are not doing it right).
Execute script.txt from zip file on MachPanel_Db after logging in to SQL management studio as MachPanel_Db user.
