Summary

This articles describes in detail about the Integration of Mail Only Hosting (Shared/Web Hosting) and Mail Only Subscriptions and Management.

Pre-Requisites
  1. MachPanel Control Server has been installed, if not then follow below KB article:

STEP-1: Integrating Mail Service with MachPanel Web Hosting:
  • Open MachPanel Control Panel Website (You can do it by opening MachPanel Control Server Configuration Studio and then navigating to Configure > Control Panel Website, and then clicking on the URL in it). Log in with the provider credentials.
  • Add Web Hosting server Group if not added already. Navigate to Home > Service Director > Web Hosting > Server group and then click on Add Server Group. For more details click Add Web Hosting Server Group
  • Now Click on Server Group Name, new tab "Web Hosting Servers" will open and you will also see Services in options column.

          

  • Click Services in the options menu against the desired server then click on Add Service button.

           

  • To add Mail Service to your Hostmatic/Web server, select Mail from the drop down list.

         

  • Now, select Provider for the Mail service and provide necessary details.
  • Select Provider ​Mail Enable
  • Provide necessary details
  • Account Limits
    • Maximum Mailboxes
    • Current Number of Mailboxes
  • DNS Records
    • Apply DNS Template

         

  • Select Provider ​Merak Mail Server 9.2.1
  1. Provide necessary detail

    • Web Service
    • Mail Server Physical Path
  • Account Limits
    • Maximum Mailboxes
    • Current Number of Mailboxes
  • DNS Records
    • Apply DNS Template

          

  • Select Provider ​Smarter Mail 6.x
  1. Provide necessary detail

    • Username
    • Password
  • Account Limits
    • Maximum Mailboxes
    • Current Number of Mailboxes
  • DNS Records
    • Apply DNS Template

  • You can Check "Run SmarterMail under IIS" and then Provide necessary details such as "Website Running as", "IP", "Port" and "Hostname Identifier".

         

  • Select Provider ​Smarter Mail 8.x

    • Maximum Mailboxes

  • You can Check "Run SmarterMail under IIS" and then Provide necessary details such as "Website Running as", "IP", "Port" and "Hostname Identifier".

  • Hit Test Service for each service and if you get Successful message in Green then integration of that service is successful.
STEP-2: Creating Mail Only Product/Package:
  • To add a Product as we added Mail Only - Shared Hosting navigate to path: Home >> Service Plans >>Hosting Products. Select Customer Product Listing tab for Customer plan.
  • Click Add New Product button as shown below:

          

  • Now provide basic details such as Server Group, Product name(say "Mail Only Product") and select Package Type Mail Only.

        

  • Under Resources tab, Provide Resources for the Mail Hosting. Provide Following fields:
  1. Maximum Mail Domain
  2. Maximum Main Domain aliases
  3. Maximum Mailboxes
  4. Maximum Email aliases
  5. Maximum Mailbox size per Mailbox (MB)
  6. Maximum mails redirects
  7. Maximum mailing lists
  8. Maximum mailing list recipients
  9. Maximum mail auto-responders 

       

  • Select Payment Cycles and Payment Groups and click Next.
  • Add Price Group and click Next.
  • Associate Add-on (if any) and then Finish to create the Package.​​
STEP-3: Provisioning and Selling of Mail Only - Shared Hosting Plan:
  • In this step you have to sell and provision the Mail Only Plan to the customer. Select Shared Hosting under "Service".

        

  • Select the Plan under "Package" accordingly.

        

STEP-4: Management of Mail Only Subscriptions:
  • Navigate to following path to manage Subscription as here we manage Mail Only:  Home >> Service Director >> Web Hosting >> Hosting Accounts
  • Select Mail Only Subscription tab as shown below:

         

  • Now you can Manage Emails as shown below:

         

  • You can Turn On/Off by navigating Turn On/Off from Email Management as shown below:

         

  • You can Manage Mail Domain Alias as shown below:

         

  • You can Add Mail Domain Alias as by clicking Add Main Domain Alias as shown below:

         

         

  • You can ​Manage Email Accounts as shown below:

         

  • You can Add Email Accounts by navigating Email Accounts > Add Email Account as shown below:

         

         

  • You can Manage Email lists as shown Below:

         

  • You can Add Email List by navigating Email Lists > Add Email Lists as shown below:
