HOTFIX:5.1.12 HF3 - Cumulative Hotfix 3 for MachPanel build v5.1.12

Summary

This article provides 5.1.12 HF3 (Hotfix-3) and information about how to apply this fix on your servers.Cumulative HF3 is a combined hotfix that includes previously released hot-fixes for build 5.1.12 (i.e. HF1 and HF2).

Applies To

This article applies to MachPanel v5.1.12.

Important Notes

Prior to performing any update take backup of your MachPanel Database, Control and Remote servers. See below KB article for more details on how to take backup. http://kb.machsol.com/Knowledgebase/Article/50248

MachPanel Control Panel and all MachPanel Remote Servers need to be on build 5.1.12 and then Hot-fix can be applied. Please follow the steps given below in sequence and execute instructions in the KB articles to complete the update:

Latest Issues Fixed

This patch includes the latest fixes as below:

Bulk mail contact takes too much time or time out occurs.
Advanced Billing custom report of cancelled accounts fixed.
Call rate and Cost issue fixed in Lync.
Fixed Federated Allowed Domain to allow all domains.
Added checks and delays to re-try Exchange provisioning and Exchange Security group creation to avoid error due to AD latency.
Fixed resources value problem in Add/Edit Package under reseller.
Lync import enhanced.
Fixed error in ViewTickertDetail, conflict in EmployeeId.
Timeout issue in Exchange Usage Reports, API function.
Resources issue is fixed in Add-on resource listing/allocation.
API Usage Report issue is fixed.
Problem in User creation using WHMCS
Additional NIC and SCSI controller in Hyper-V 2012 R2.
Shared hosting appears under reseller though not subscribed.
Allow posting to external users in Public Folder.
Handled multiple URLs causing issue in VPS status update.
WHMCS more than one serviceId of WHMCS to map against MachPanel hosted service (Reseller and AddOn).

Procedure

Go to MachPanel configuration studio.
Stop all services related to MachPanel.
Exit MachPanel configuration studio.
Download the hotfix CumulativeHF3.zip file from the link at bottom of this page.
Open services.msc on MachPanel remote servers and stop MachPanel provisioning service.
Make sure MachPanel configuration studio is not running from task manager.
Replace files from Control Server folder on MachPanel control server and Replace files from Remote server folder of hotfix folder on MachPanel remote server keeping the folder hierarchy same as it is in hotfix. (you should get message to overwrite files, if not you are not doing it right).
Execute script from zip file on MachPanel_Db after logging in to SQL management studio as MachPanel_Db user. Password can be obtained from connection string in registry of MachPanel Control Server.
Once all files are replaced properly from hotfix folder restart all services related to MachPanel on Control as well as Remote Servers.
