This articles provides information about how to update your MachPanel Control Server to latest version.

Pre-Requisite:
Dot Net Framework 3.5
*Note:
- Kindly ensure to take backup of database (when updating MachPanel Control Server) as well as MachPanel files.
- It is recommended to name the database backup file according to the current version of MachPanel (e.g. if MachPanel is on version V.4.3.10 then name it as : MachPanel_DB4310.bak). Do name the backup file with .bak extension, otherwise backup file will NOT be a valid one.
- Also take backup of MachPanel files with version name usually at this path C:\Program Files\MachSol, Inc\MachPanel
(e.g. backup of MachPanel V.4.3.10 files -> copy the 'MachPanel' folder, paste it in 'MachSol Inc' folder and rename it as MachPanel-4310)
Procedure:
To update MachPanel to latest version, please follow the steps mentioned below:
- Open MachPanel Control Server Configuration Studio.
- Then go to the following navigation path in MachPanel Configuration Studio: Configure >> Software Updates.
- Click Check Available Updates button under Update Software tab on right pane of configuration studio.
- Then click on Download button.
- At the end click Install button.
*After
the updates have been performed, make sure that the control and all the
remote servers are on same build, otherwise they wont be able to
communicate with each other
