Upgrade Instructions

Please follow the steps given below in sequence and execute instructions in the KB articles to complete the update:

1. Update to Latest MachPanel
2. Update to Latest MachPanel Remote Server

• General:

• A new utility FindAndRemoveDeletedMailboxes.exe is introduced, Please review details at following KB article:

Note on "FindAndRemoveDeletedMailboxes.exe" utility:

All customers are requested to run the above utility to first review and then delete mailboxes. This will ensure that there are no UN-deleted mailboxes on the back end which where deleted through MachPanel but they actually exist on back end exchange.

• Option to enable/disable WHMCS added for Resellers.

• New functions added in API to give Usage Reporting for Exchange, CRM, SharePoint, Lync, Webhosting to provider/reseller.

• Show hide locale, language, default locale, language selection of particular store implemented.

• Localization of invoice template is implemented.

• Exchange:

• Public folder manager mailbox handling changed. Default PFM will be assigned to mailboxes in new organization without any Public Folder, OU PFM will be created and assigned if Public Folder is created in an organization. So now by default OU PFM will not be created.
• Create Root Public folder with name=domain and create folders inside it for each organization to avoid duplicate name error done. Need to update registry on control server for new implementation to take affect:

Create following keys in registry Software\MachSol\MachPanel on control server only.

• Lync:

• Enhanced Call rates UI, import enhanced to cater large number of record in CSV.
• Destination Id, Gateway Group Id displayed for CSV creation in Lync setup respective tabs.
• Lync call report improved.
• Local call handling in Lync report handled.
• More detailed information exported in Lync call reporting.
• Phone Numbers used by Response Groups are also mentioned accordingly

• General:

• Some display related issues fixed related to Persian language.
• Missing image issue in Silver theme is resolved
• Fixed Mailbox usage bar on Client Dashboard.
• Cancel orders are shown on client's order page. (Custom requirement of a client)
• Duplicate records created due to Apostrophe in CN.
• Random license Id is generated each time license info is accessed.
• Fixed left to right alignment display for Persian language.
• Reseller resource handling updated in Exchange, SP, Lync, reseller cannot see resources which he does not have like Public Folders, Archive etc.
• Fixed challenge response email not sent in Helpdesk.
• Fixed Add Access template stuck at loading in Chrome.
• Persian loading screen and screen flickering issue.
• Helpdesk Confirm Email handling improved, notices are sent for new ticket and Customer account.

• Exchange:

• Fixed error in setting Public Folder quota limits, cannot convert "" to integer.
• Fixed Exchange Group Actions not being processed by Provisioning Service.
• Exchange mailbox deletion issue fixed where the mailbox doesn't get deleted if it is already disabled via MachPanel.
• Fixed index out of bound error in Exchange 2013 New Public Folder function.
• Fixed DL creation for Persian OU name.
• Fixed Max Receive Size limit issue in Distribution List management.
• Mailbox Creation and management fixed for Exchange2007
• Public folder quota handling problems.
• Mail Contact with same external email in org fails.
• Fixed Calendar permission issue in Exchange.
• Disabled mailbox delete issue fixed.
• Updated handling related to OWA settings in reseller package creation, if OWA settings are off for reseller, these does not appear in Packages handling.
• Set distribution list name gives permission error resolved.

• Lync:

• Fixed SPLA Type selection issue in Edit Addon.
• Lync SPLA type issue in Sync plans is fixed
• Timestamp issue in Lync usage reports is resolved
• Bulk User Import fixed when email is not specified.
• Restriction removed on number of password characters in Add Lync user.
• Password field added in add Bulk Lync user.
• Fixed changing options in IVR responses in IVR type workflow. Underscore is allowed in SIP address.
• Fixed reseller phone numbers handling at Provider side.
• Issue resolved while Editing Sold Add-on resources-policies
• Loop-back response-queue issue is resolved
• Phone number release issue is resolved
• Text is made compulsory along with audio file in workflow add/edit interfaces.
• Fixed incorrect Routing Method selected for Hosting Pack in Response Groups.
• Fixed ResourceId column error in Reseller handling.

• API:

• Error message enhanced for API call
• Fixed Subscribe multiple connection timeout issue in API/WHMCS.
