• In Lync server, you have to provide the FQDN of Persistent Chat Server. See the snapshot below:

• You can Enable\Disable Persistent Chat feature from Service Plan under Resources tab:

• To view and manage Persistent Chat for Lync, navigate to the following path: Home » Service Director » SfB (Lync) Hosting » Accounts >> Service Management

• You can add & manage Chat categories and Chat rooms under Persistent Chat tab.Click on Add Category button to add a category. See the snapshots below:

• To add a chat room, click on Chat Room button as shown in the snapshots below:
