This article provides summary for SfB (Lync) Persistent Chat Feature in MachPanel.
Applies to MachPanel v5.2.11 and above.
- In Lync server, you have to provide the FQDN of Persistent Chat Server. See the snapshot below:
- You can Enable\Disable Persistent Chat feature from Service Plan under Resources tab:
- To view and manage Persistent Chat for Lync, navigate to the following path: Home » Service Director » SfB (Lync) Hosting » Accounts >> Service Management

You can add & manage Chat categories and Chat rooms under Persistent Chat tab.Click on Add Category button to add a category. See the snapshots below:
- To add a chat room, click on Chat Room button as shown in the snapshots below:
