Upgrade Instructions

Please follow the steps given below in sequence and execute instructions in the KB articles to complete the update:

1. Update to Latest MachPanel
2. Update to Latest MachPanel Remote Server

IMPORTANT - Update to MachPanel 3.1 Build 19: The update process followed in above knowledge base articles will automatically upgrade to latest build.

New Features/Improvements

• Improvement: Implemented validation control for Manager Mailbox in distribution list advance setting. Also added functionality for changing distribution list "display name".
• Improvement: Access template editing is improved, option provides to edit template only or update existing client template also.
• Improvement: Progress bar is implanted on all required interfaces (like Database, Website settings, Update etc) in Configuration Studio.
• Improvement: Default country selection in country drop down lists has been improved. Now selected country in PCC is same as Provider/Reseller settings. In CCC default country selection is same as in Customer profile.
• New feature: “Outlook Profile Helper” to create a much more user-friendly experience for end customers. The new Outlook Profile Helper will create an Outlook profile for mailbox by configuring the best access method and security settings for the user's specific computer system and connection type.

Note: After updating, please ensure that all the participating servers for Exchange/HMC have latest settings for fields  [MailBoxServerFQDN:] and [CASExternalFQDN:]. These settings stand for [Full Mailbox Server Name] and [Full CAS Server name] respectively. Please verify these fields for Standalone and HMC setup under following navigation path:

Resolved Issues

• Bug fixed: After successful Activation of Blackberry Device, the status showed by MachPanel is still "Initializing”.
• Bug fixed: On adding wireless features to a mailbox, the mailbox is not getting added in to blackberry manager. Clicking "Wireless Tab" again, and try to activate the mailbox again, it tries again and adds duplicate entry. None of the duplicate entries can be removed. Error detail: No records found (SP_EM_W_GetBBProvisionedServerGroupByMBID '17').
• Bug fixed: Updating a user mailbox information generates following error:
• “Operation failed. : 'UpdateInDb': Error in Query: SP_EM_ExUpdateMailbox '77', N'Donna D'Onofrio', '0'. Details: Incorrect syntax near 'Onofrio'. Unclosed quotation mark after the character string ''.”
• Bug fixed: Creating different Service Plans in "Exchange Hosting Products" with the option "Outlook Non-Cached mode Allowed" enabled, does not show it enabled in advanced options of the mailboxes.
• Bug fixed: Distribution list limit does not retain on the interface. Navigating to Exchange accounts and then returning to advanced page under distribution list tab, the settings will change.
• Bug fixed: Mail Contact limit does not retain on the interface in Exchange.
• Bug fixed: Send email option does not work in Hosted Exchange Extension when mailbox is created and email alert option is selected.
• Bug fixed: In contact list “Hide from exchange address list” is not working.
• Bug fixed: ActiveSync is enabled even that in the Control Panel the option is turned off.
• Bug fixed: While creating a new organization, its GAL is not defined with the CustomAttribute.
• Bug fixed: Error page is displayed while clicking on "Activate Wireless" without configuring wireless server first.
• Bug fixed: In Add List Member box, mailbox/mail contacts are shown in unclear format within Exchange distribution lists.
• Bug fixed: Service queue logs and error messages continue to show "eJadSPM System" name.
• Bug fixed: Variable name is often unchanged when emails are generated by MachPanel.
• Bug fixed: Unable to sell dedicated hosting.
• Bug fixed: Add-on issue when purchasing an add-on and clicking on the resources tab.
• Bug fixed: “Prohibit Send and Receive at” field incorrectly labeled in Exchange plan setup.
• Bug fixed: Problem in editing add-on when only “Great Britain Pound” is selected as the currency for it.
• Bug fixed: Creating two Exchange plans with GBP currency including one of them to store front does not allow to add the second product to store and generates error.
• Bug fixed: Creating a plan with ZAR and GBP currencies and linking with two different stores displays ZAR even though GBP is selected when launching the store.
• Bug fixed: OU/User sharing in Exchange and SharePoint module not working.
• Bug fixed: Create a ZAR plan with amount over ZAR 1000 and offer a discount, the save discount shows 0 within the store.
