This article give information about fixing the issue faced when Hyper-V host Server have language other than English, then the VMIntegrationService "Guest Service Interface" fails on it.

Details

When Hyper-V host have language other than English, then following command gets failed, as it looks for "Guest Service Interface" and it was not found because of the different language of Hyper-V host

While searching the whole service of the VM it shows this service with different name as shown below

Resolution

To fix this issue below should be done.

• Have to set correct name on Hyper-V Host machines in registry. The integration service name can be mentioned in registry path: SOFTWARE\MachSol\MachPanel, new string key: VMIntegrationServiceName, value: "Guest Service Interface". Update the value "Guest Service Interface" in desired Host Machine Language.
