This article provides summary for how to install and configure Application Initialization 1.0 for IIS 7.5/IIS 8.0 to improve MP Control Panel performance and load time.

Applies To

Applies to MachPanel v4.3.13 and above.

Compatibility

1.  Version IIS 7.5 ( Windows Server 2008 R2): Application Initialization (RC) was released as an out-of-band module in IIS 7.5.
2.  Version IIS 8.0 (Windows Server 2012): Application Initialization was included in IIS 8.0.

• Run the application.

• Accept the license agreement and click on Install button.

•  Click on Finish button.

• Now restart your system for the configuration changes to take effect.

 

Procedure for IIS 8.0

• Click on Server Manager from Startup Menu and select Add roles and features as shown in the snapshot below:

• Select Application Initialization from the roles. The rest of the steps are same as that of adding roles and features to IIS 8.0.

• Restart the system when installation completes.

More Information

Also you can improve the load time and MachPanel performance by disabling the modules at Control Panel Server which are not commonly in use. For e.g. helpdesk and network service.

• Navigate to the path: All Programs » Administrative  Tools » Services
• Right click on the Service Name and click on Properties.

• Select Disabled from the drop down list then click on OK button.
