Add VPS / Virtual Machine to Hyper-V Account
A virtual machine (VM) is a software program or operating system that not only exhibits the behavior of a separate computer, but is also capable of performing tasks such as running applications and programs like a separate computer.
- To add a virtual machine navigate to following path: Home » Customer Manager » Customers
- Now click on the Customer Name, Select Subscriptions tab and click on the VPS subscription. Home » Customer Manager » Subscription List
- Once you click the VPS Subscription ID you will be on following navigation path: Home » Customer Manager » Subscription List » Subscription Detail
- You will be able to view details of the subscription you have clicked and will be able to perform various operations on subscription. You will see following details on the Subscription Detail page.
- Select Virtual Machines tab.
- For existing Virtual Machines, you can Manage, Re-Install, Delete, ReImport and Delete from DB only.
- To add a new VPS click on Add Virtual Machine button and fill in the following fields:
- Virtual Machine Name: Provide the name of the virtual machine name.
- CPU Cores: Provide no of CPU cores.
- RAM (MB): Provide RAM in MB.
- Disk Space (GB): Provide disk space in GB.
- Snapshots: Provide the no of Snapshots.
- No. of External IP Addresses: Provide the no of external IP addresses.
- Select IP: Select IP's from the list.
- Install Using: Option to install the OS using an ISO during VM creation.
- Sealed Images/OS ISO: Select Sealed image/OS ISO from dropdown list.
- Click on Add button when done.
