Summary

The .Net Framework Data Providers require Microsoft Data Access Components(MDAC). Secondly an error received while trying to use Export to Excel feature: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.

 MachPanel Version 4.2.24 and above 

Symptoms

Error Message 1:

Upon clicking Export to Excel below error message is received: The 'Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0' provider is not registered on the local machine.

This error is caused when Data Connectivity Components are not installed on the MachPanel control server. Below is an error snapshot:

The .Net Framework Data Providers require Microsoft Data Access Components(MDAC). Please install Microsoft Data Access Components(MDAC) version 2.6 or later

Resolution

This component needs to be installed on the server where “MachPanel Control Server” is installed and not on the local work station.

Note: Please choose appropriate file for installation as per operating system.
