Upgrade Instructions


Please follow the steps given below in sequence and execute instructions in the KB articles to complete the update:
  1. Update to Latest MachPanel
  2. Update to Latest MachPanel Remote Server

Major Enhancements

  • Added support for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013
  • Added support for Smarter Mail 11 in Web Hosting Module
New Features/Improvements
  • Exchange:
  • Added Management for Shared Mailboxes for Exchange 2013.
  • Mailbox templates improved by adding options such as changing owner of the template, changing Retention Limit etc.
  • Improved filtering for distribution list members.
  • Improved Exchange Usage Report by Splitting BlackBerry column into respective providers in listing.
  • CRM:
  • Tab positions are rearranged in service management.
  • CRM SPLA Report Functionality for CRM 2013 Added to MachPanel.  The report is based on CRM 2013 CAL types.
  • Separate columns for active and in-active CRM user are added to CRM usage reports.
  • Lync:
  • Listing Lync task in service queue.
  • Improved Error Message when Line URI and extension already in use.
  • Improved Lync User search criteria.
  • SharePoint:
  • Improved SharePoint 2013 Multi-tenancy Support where MachPanel now allows to add different versions/editions of SharePoint under same AD environment.
  • BlackBerry:

  • In case of absence of BlackBerry Security Group, the BlackBerry Wireless Activation button is hidden and also the notification/error message is improved.
  • General:
  • Text Editor to HTML Editor: Added ability to edit email templates in HTML format so that one would be able to paste HTML directly into the template.
  • Improved ability to manage Staff Users for resellers and provider.
  • Track history of a sold service plan’s upgrades/downgrades with dates.
  • Added more shortcuts on Customer dashboard for ease of use and quick access to different areas / operations.
  • Added separate Email Relay setting for Reseller so they can supply their own SMTP Relay server.
  • Added Notifications like when a new ticket is added, or a new customer signs up.
  • Global search improvements: Pop-up should only show results specific to search.
  • Improved selection of Multiple currencies for online store.
  • Added ability to White label customer panel for provider/reseller.

Resolved \Fixed Issues:

  • Exchange:
  • Fixed problem with Send Mailbox Usage report in Exchange Usage report scheduled email.
  • Fixed problem in editing added/cloned Exchange add-on (SPLA type was not being saved).
  • Exchange2013 retention policy and public folder check boxes were missing while adding new plan.
  • Public folder not being bind correctly: attribute "defaultfublicfoldermailbox " setting for  mailbox.
  • Distribution List Display per page Issue fixed.
  • SharePoint:
  • Options to Edit pending SharePoint users removed from Client Control Panel.
  • Lync:
  • Adding/editing Lync user: Controls not getting reset for extension numbers.
  • Line URI field should be empty after it is successfully added.
  • After adding line URIs while adding Lync user, page should be re-directed to add new user page.
  • SIP Address in Workflows: The dot was not accepted in SIP address.
  • Fixed problem with workflow in Lync Response groups while adding Lync user
  • Lync Migration - Response groups/Federated domains (allow-block domains) and Persistent chat categories are now also imported.
  • Fixed problem where Line URI and phone number group wasn’t visible at RCC and Reseller's CCC.
  • Lync Response group - Work Flow: English is set as Default language.
  • CRM:
  • Issue fixed while adding CRM add-on to shopping cart.
  • CRM Bulk user addition-Matched column in .csv results in broken page
  • CRM usage Report "Inactive User" has separate listing.
  • Fixed error when MachPanel tries to assign Administrative role to CRM user with Child Business Unit.
  • Fixed Sync Business Unit issue
  • Display Disabled and Enabled user separately in CRM Usage report

  • Fixed problem with ADSync Log and operation report.
  • MachPanel does not show Information on hover for ADSync Event in audit logs.
  • General:
  • MySQL Server adding: When adding the Database server, MachPanel doesn't load MySQL UI/Setting.
  • Enable/Disable logging based on registry value instead of hard code.
  • Audit Log were not Listing all logs.
  • Paging was missing at all extension Reseller Plans.
  • Logo was not appropriate at 4th level login screen.
  • Updated auto-discover record entry in DNS Zone.
