INFO:Why “Total Mailboxes Size Per Organization” Is Removed

Summary

In MachPanel v.2 there was feature of "Total Mailboxes Size Per Organization", but in latest version of MachPanel v.3 this features is unavailable and has been replaced with a new and enhanced feature i.e. dynamic quota method. This article explains why this feature is removed.

MachPanel version 3.

Solution

This feature is removed because it was less efficient in terms of utilization of resources. Now we have implemented dynamic quota method. The advantages of using this method are:

Efficient utilization of resources (Disk Space)
The space is allocated when mailbox is created
The size of Exchange organization depends on the size and number of mailboxes.

Note: In previous system the space was allocated when organization is created. For instance if you create an organization of 10GB size, this organization will occupy 10GB space, either you create any mailbox or not, but now you can utilize the disk space in more efficient manner.
