Important Pre-requisites

1. MachPanel Control Server v.4.0.40
2. MachPanel Remote Server v.4.0.40

Note: Separate installers are also available for MachPanel v.4.1.12, available in the customer portal area.

Upgrade Instructions
Please follow the steps given below in sequence and execute instructions in the KB articles to complete the update:

1. Update to Latest MachPanel
2. Update to Latest MachPanel Remote Server

IMPORTANT - Update to MachPanel 4.1 Build 12: The update process followed in above knowledge base articles will automatically upgrade to latest build.

New Features/Improvements

• New feature: Provided provision for Exchange 2010 Server Groups.
• New feature: A handy utility has been integrated with MachPanel Provisioning System and MachPanel Remote Server installation. This intelligent utility checks automatically on provisioning of an OU, whether the Active Directory is segregated or not and in case of segregation, it automates configuration of segregated hosted exchange organization.
• New feature: Add/Edit interfaces included for Exchange 2010 support.
• Improvement: Invoices to be charged on same date or after the date it becomes due.
• Improvement: In billing manager, under statements interface, text has been improved.
• Improvement: Inclusion of new attribute "Hardware node" in the main IP Addresses Interface in front of "Identification" attribute.

Resolved Issues

• Bug fixed: Visibility of configure tab when Exchange Provider is disabled.
• Bug fixed: When clicked on Add new Domain button under Exchange mail domains interface on client side without adding any domain, error had occurred: Operation failed : Create SMTP Domain : Create SMTP Domain Cannot process argument transformation on parameter 'Domain Name'. Cannot convert value "" to type "Microsoft.Exchange.Data.SmtpDomainWithSubdomains". Error: """ isn't a valid SMTP domain."
• Bug fixed: Mailbox creation failed when entered password in password field and clicked on save button, error had occurred: Get active directory user: The operation couldn't be performed.
• Bug fixed: Failure to create DNS entry when creating new mail domain.
• Bug fixed: When tried to make new mailbox at mailbox interface under exchange accounts, error had occurred: Get active directory user: The operation couldn't be performed because object couldn't be found.
• Bug fixed: Exchange Mail domains resources limits not working properly as specified in the service plan.
• Bug fixed: Adding domain name with invalid format on Exchange organization screen and pressing on saved button results in "generic failure" error.
• Bug fixed: Wrong provider has shown on General setting while selecting Exchange 2010 as provider.
• Bug fixed: Error occurred in provisioning when using different OU structure for different server group.
• Bug fixed: Encountered error when deleting particular domain alias.
• Bug fixed: Adding domain alias it displayed error message.
• Bug fixed: For Hostmatic, creating sub domain results in error.

• Bug fixed: When an overdue payment is made, the graced marker on that subscription does not get changed to Active, it remains as 'Graced'.
• Bug fixed: For subscriptions, there seems to be no way to change a trial account to a normal account.
• Bug fixed: Segregation not working properly for Exchange2010.
• Bug fixed: Account password cannot be changed using Active Directory user listing interface.

• Bug fixed: Provisioning failed for Hostmatic and there is no error in error message detail under service queue.
• Bug fixed: When trying to add same domain name but with upper case, error message had occurred: "Operation failed: Create SMTP Domain : The accepted domain Rocks.com already exists."
• Bug fixed: Search button did not work for ID field under billing manager

Known Issues

• BlackBerry Extension not working in conjunction with Exchange 2010.
• Full access and Send As functionality not provided for Exchange 2010 at mailbox tab under mailbox detail.
