Important Pre-requisites

1. Dot Net framework 3.5 (latest version) is required on control/remote servers.
2. MachPanel Control Server v.4.1.32
3. MachPanel Remote Server v.4.1.32

Upgrade Instructions
Please follow the steps given below in sequence and execute instructions in the KB articles to complete the update:

1. Update to Latest MachPanel
2. Update to Latest MachPanel Remote Server

IMPORTANT

Dot Net framework 3.5 (latest version) is required on control/remote servers, especially on Microsoft CRM2011 server.

New Features/Improvements

CRM 2011 Integration
DNS Handling has been added For SharePoint. (In case of sub-domain of web App).
Web Application ID is being added for handling Host headers in IIS (In case of Vanity URL)
Exchange 2010 Hosted mode integration.
Group actions added for actions on multiple mailboxes at a time in Exchange organization management interface Mailbox tab.
Active directory Organization listing, Add/Remove organization option added in Active Directory section for Provider.
Active directory User listing, Add user, remove user, change password option added in Active Directory section for Provider.
Mailbox database selection option in provider interface added. Provider can select database when adding mailbox. Also edit mailbox database option is also added in mailbox management section.
Only Authenticated users can send mail on default security group created in Exchange to avoid spamming.
Secondary DNS server handling added in Exchange server DNS handling.
Host Header is being added under the existing “SmarterMail” site to accommodate automatic working of SmarterMail webmail interface for every newly provisioned site.
Package add-ons and package selection box in Products Add/Edit wizard make bigger
Public folder re-structured, new features added (send as and send on behalf, Error fixed in “Mail Flow Settings” while changing maximum item size, Error fixed in accept message from & reject message from in mail flow settings)
“AutoAccept for Meeting Requests” can be applied to Room and equipment mailboxes.

Personal Archive Feature Implementation (Supported with Exchange 2010 Hosted/Non Hosted)
SmarterMail running under IIS Handling (Add/edit mail service, Add mail domain, mail provisioning in order setup)
Public Folder (Provider/client organization management interface update. New options in Public Folder added)
Usage reporting added for Exchange module.

Resolved Issues

Provider goes in reseller section, when provider returns to provider section sees reseller white label setting instead of Provider.

Mailbox created using bulk mailbox option does not appear in Distribution list manager selection option.

Wrong quota exceed message when adding bulk mailboxes.

CRM server settings “Report server URL” field not accepting any port.

Outlook profile generator giving wrong details.

CRM provisioning fails at Security group step: Error: A device attached to the system is not functioning.

User email field not being set in MS-CRM.

Only one name server added in DNS for Exchange domain.

MS FTP Permissions issue fixed.

The breadcrumbs in the systems stay in the English Language while the default language is Dutch.

Add room mailbox failed due to ActiveSync enabled.

Edit staff user does not work in Google Chrome

For SharePoint, the Store Order form shows Portal address option only, no vanity URL.

Domain name in SharePoint is truncated i.e. allows less number of characters.

User edit in SharePoint does not work with empty password – but always gives successful msg.

Error in changing Display name of a mailbox

SharePoint ID - On SharePoint server group screen, "when created Web application Id", for example sharepoint-111. It got created on backend but with different Id.

Exchange 2007: Public folder - Operation failed. : Error converting data type varchar to int.

Known Issue

Total usage calculation of Mailbox and Public Folder (Aggregated usage of all mailboxes/ public folders under an organization) in Exchange Usage Report is not working at moment.
