Summary

When MachPanel Configuration Studio attempts to load, you are presented with following error:

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application.  If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.
Access is denied.

Solution

Solution 1:  Run the program as Administrator

1. Navigate to MachPanel Installation Directory, typically C:\program files\MachSol, Inc\MachPanel\bin.
2. Right Click MachSol.MachPanel.ConfigurationStudio and select Properties.
3. Go to Compatibility tab and Check Run this program as Administrator.

Solution 2:  Disable User Access Control (UAC)

   1. Launch MSCONFIG from the Run menu.
   2. Click on the Tools tab. Scroll down till you find Disable UAC. Click on that line.
   3. Press the Launch button.
   4. A CMD window will open. When the command is done, you can close the window.
   5. Close MSCONFIG. You need to reboot the computer for changes to apply.

Note: You can re-enable UAC by selecting the Enable UAC line and then clicking on the Launch button when required.
