MachPanel

Summary

This article explains two different methods to change existing mailbox storage quota/size using Hosted Exchange Extension (HEE)

Applies To

MachPanel all versions

Hosted Exchange Extension (HEE) - Standalone

Solution
It is possible to change the storage limit for an existing mailbox using
MachPanel. Since the maximum mailbox size set for the entire organization is below the required new storage size, so you have to sell an add-on to organization with more storage space. Simply create add-on with additional storage space and other features. Do not add more organizations.

There are two options which will be discussed one by one in later part of this article. For example, if you want to change an existing mailbox with storage limit of 500MB to 2048MB. Please follow the guidelines below:

Option 1

Create an Add-on

  1. Create add-on by navigating to: Home » Service Plans » Exchange Hosting Products
  2. Click the Add-on Tab.
  3. You will need to sell this add-on to the organization under which the mailbox requiring the change exists.
  4. Provision this add-on from service queue
  5. Navigate to: Home » Service Director » Exchange Hosting » Exchange Accounts » Manage Service
  6. Edit limit for your mailbox now and it should be updated.
Option 2
1. Navigate to: Home >> Client Manager >> Customers
2. Click on Client ID for which you want to edit the limit for mailbox
3. Click Subscriptions tab and then select your Subscription ID
4. Click Resources tab and then edit the resources by pressing edit resources button
